Marsh Buggy Goes Where Traditional Excavators Cannot Go New from LongReachHighReach (LRHR) is the Amphibious Marsh Buggy (Amphib MB) specifically designed to maneuver and go through swampy areas with soft underfoot terrain where traditional excavators cannot go. The Amphib MB is extremely productive in dredging, erosion control and erosion prevention. It also provides efficiency in waterway, river and pond shoreline construction and can be used for maintenance and clearing of rivers, lakes and other water projects. The track chain is a three rail system. Shoes and cleats are supported by the track chain which provides a unifying pulling force with a superior weight to drive ratio across each track shoe and cleat. A manual expansion system allows the pontoons to move in and out by one-foot on each side increasing and reducing the overall footprint of the unit. Highly maneuverable, the system is made of high-grade structural tensile plate steel with some steel components made with 100,000 psi steel. Uniquely designed for easy breakdown and reassembly in a matter of hours, the Amphib MB and 20-ton excavator top can be shipped economically in three containers for contractors doing jobs in remote and distant areas. The Amphib MB package for small and mid-sized hydraulic excavators is a natural compliment to Long Reach's product line of 100� Reach large excavator custom fronts.
Applications: The Marsh Buggy has proved itself well in the following applications: Dredging Landscaping Erosion control and prevention Deepening of waterway and river delta Maintenance and cleaning of rivers, lakes, shoreline, ponds, etc. Attachment: Standard configuration of the Marsh Buggy comes with a long reach attachment unless otherwise stated. The convenience of an extended reach and greater working range is always a welcomed advantage when carrying out work in marsh land and dredging related projects.
